Kiwanis Club of Greater Lawrence

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the world one child one community at a time.

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Lawrence finances its community service activities and other charitable donations by means of three fund raising events.

Various restaurants provide samples of their wares for the benefit of this fun(d) raiser. Also donated are various items, including sports memorabilia, for live and silent auctions. This year's event will be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Andover, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Honored will be Dr. Dan C. Hale, MD, FAAP, Medical Director of the Floating Hospital for Children's Pediatric Hospital Program at the Lawrence General Hospital and Mr. Bruce Arnold, WCCM radio personality.

Live and silent auctions will also be held.

Tickets are $45 apiece prepaid before April 17, $50 afterward. A reserved table for ten is $400.

Kiwanis 50/50 $10,000 Raffle

The second annual raffle will
be held during the summer of 
2013.

A fund raiser in which some forty Club members and friends dress as Santas and elves and regale many restaurants in the area with festive song. The proceeds from Santa Night each year are used to support a special three-year initiative. First there was a new water safety program at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, then the new Teen Center at the Lawrence Branch of the Y.M.C.A, and now an unique riding program for children with special needs at Challenge Unlimited in Andover. The next Santa Night will occur on the first Friday of December, 2013.
